It is summer, and I am one who is ready to pack my bags to go for a little adventure. Skincare is important and takes and this process includes a lot of products. What do we do when we are traveling? When we are not sure if our product bottles will be allowed to be carried with us. How do we even make time for skincare during our traveling time. Nikola Valenti has got you.
Wear sunscreen: even during your flight
Every expert has said it, to wear sunscreen even if you are in closed places. Wear a sunscreen which a broad spectrum and at least an SPF 50. Thinkbaby is the First sunscreen to pass Whole Foods Premium Care requirements. EWG Rated "1" since 2010
2. Tie your hair back
Even if this is directly not a skincare routine procedure, tying your hair as often as you can during travel will prevent your skin from breaking out
3. Get travel-sized versions of your favorite products
Get travel-sized bottles for these essentials, so you won't be left heartbroken as I was on airport.
Chemical exfoliant (AHA / BHA)
Hyaluronic acid
Moisturizer
Vitamin C serum
Tinted sunscreen (in lieu of foundation)
Toothpaste for a long-haul flight, otherwise I’ll buy it there
4. Wash your hands again and again and again
Wash your hands before touching your face. Planes and trains are basically breeding grounds for bacteria, and you definitely want to avoid transferring them to your skin. Bloggers and YouTubers love to do whole skincare routines during travel but please at least make sure to wash your hands first.
5. Bring a Jade roller
something that’s super easy to stick in a carry-on bag. After applying eye cream and moisturizer, go the extra mile in order to prevent puffiness by using a jade roller or Gua Sha tool during flight. Additionally, it’s a great self-care ritual that helps to promote relaxation.
